Continue your holiday celebrations on Easter Monday, April 17 – a.k.a. Dyngus Day. This Polish Easter tradition will be held at Polish Falcons on the South Side and include emcee Jimmy Krenn, music, and some good eats and drinks including pierogis, kielbasa and beer.
In Poland, Easter Monday is known as Smigus Dyngus or Lany Poniedzialek. In the US, Dyngus Day is a celebration of Polish culture, heritage and tradition. Along with Pittsburgh, there are celebrations in Buffalo, Chicago and Cleveland.
The full event runs from 2:00pm to 8:00pm, and Jimmy will be emceeing from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
