Comedian Jim Krenn will perform and record an episode of his “No Restrictions” podcast at the Cabo Comedy Festival in Los Cabos, Mexico. The festival runs Wednesday through Oct. 6 and features stand-up comics, a talent competition and panels on the comedy business.
During the festival, Mr. Krenn will host and perform at the Wednesday lineup at the Hard Rock Cafe.
Other comics with local connections appearing at the Cabo festival include Frank Nicotero and Mark Eddie. Three local comedians — Aaron Kleiber, Terry Jones and Mike Wysocki — will take part in the Jack Rollins Breakthrough Talent Competition.
Mr. Krenn’s weekly comedy podcast now has more than 60,000 subscribers and is carried on the Sideshow Network and on iTunes. “It’s exciting to be able to reconnect with listeners,” he said. He’ll record three episodes, with “No Restrictions” regulars Mr. Jones, John Evans and Mr. Wysocki, at the festival. The episodes will post in mid to late October.
In the coming weeks, Mr. Krenn will be a guest on several other Sideshow Network podcasts: “Overview With Rick Overton,” “Story Worthy With Christine Blackburn” and “Time Out With Terrell Owens.”
