JIM KRENN “NO RESTRICTIONS” PRESENTS “COFFEE WITH KRENN” FROM DELANIE’S COFFEE SHOP.
Jim Krenn launches “Coffee with Krenn,” the first series of podcast incarnations of the “No Restrictions” brand. Episodes will record a few times per month and feature a mix of local celebs and Jimmy’s friends chatting about anything and everything old and new, topical, classic, controversial, comedic and sometimes crazy, all in a casual coffee house setting. The series will record in September at Delanie’s Coffee Shop in the Southside, which is part of the AMPD Group.
The “No Restrictions” Podcast originated as a weekly roundtable studio show that recorded 149 episodes to 98,000+ subscribers between 2013-2015 for Los Angeles-based ‘Sideshow’ Comedy Podcast Network. The show featured Pittsburgh standup comic sidekicks, Mike Wysocki, Terry Jones, and Mike Sasson who replaced John Evans in 2015.
In July of 2015, the “No Restrictions” podcast team became the morning radio show on WLTJ, Q-92.9FM Pittsburgh, a Steel City Media property. Not a breakaway ratings hit, the show came to and end on June 30 of 2016. Krenn and Steel City Media continue to support and work together on limited projects and client associations. Mike Wysocki has moved on to his own weekly show on Trib Live Radio, Mike Sasson hosts his weekly show on The Rivers Edge Network and Terry Jones recently recorded his first comedy album at the Pittsburgh Improv with a regional tour on tap. All have an open invitation to the “No Restrictions” podcast to co-host, sit-in or guest appearance to promote their shows and events.
Krenn returned as a solo host to his studio podcast show in August with Episode #150 featuring guests, Pittsburgh native General Michael Hayden, brother Harry Hayden, and Former Pittsburgh Steelers Lineman now broadcaster Craig Wolfley.
Jim Krenn and his team will continue to diversify the “No Restrictions” brand with three planned series incarnations over the next seven months, continuing to highlight and feature Pittsburgh, with an emphasis on established names and talent on the rise. Studio shows will remain part of the brand and sprinkle into the new structure but look for the brand to live throughout the city that Jim Krenn loves.
